The Cultural Connections Program

Connecting kids and elders
through storytelling

Join us!

Our first-ever Cultural Connections program welcomes Korean-Canadian families in the Burnaby, Coquitlam, and Vancouver regions to come together to connect with Korean elders. Kids and families will enjoy treats and play fun Korean games, all while learning about heritage histories told through the experiences of Korean elders in the BC community.

At Christine Sinclair Community Centre, located at 3713 Kensington Ave in Burnaby

Sunday, April 28 from 1:30 to 3 PM.

Who is invited?

All Korean-Canadian families with children (young and old) are welcome to attend!

Is there a cost?

The event is completely free! We will provide some light refreshments for all event attendees.

Presented as part of Connect Fest Burnaby

Registration is now closed. A big thank you from the City of Burnaby, Connect Fest, and the All Families Lab to all families and elders who participated in our inaugural Cultural Connections event with the Korean-Canadian BC Community. Be on the lookout for future events with Korean-Canadian, Chinese-Canadian, Filipino-Canadian, and other communities in the Metro Vancouver and Tri-Cities regions!
